The auto also comes with brand new spoiler pack that includes a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, trunk-lid spoiler and rear underbody spoiler. The interiors of the auto are black with a grey chrome finish instrument panel.

Compared to it we have to say the Honda is a tad bit more stylish thanks to its sharper exterior features and body accenting lines.

As the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz RS is just a fresh variant in the lineup, the vehicle would be sticking to its previous mechanical features, because the auto will continue to offer the similar 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel (88.5bhp, 200Nm) and a petrol version of 1.4-litre VVT (91bhp, 130Nm) which has been created to power the normal trims.

The Maruti Ciaz RS is available in seven different colors - Pearl Snow White, Metallic Silky Silver, Pearl Midnight Black, Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Metallic Glistening Gray, Metallic Clear Beige, and Peal Sangria Red.

Speaking about the vehicle, R S Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki said: “Ciaz has emerged as one of our strong brands”. Further, the introduction of smart hybrid diesel and safety features such as dual airbags and ABS in base variants has enhanced the reputation of Ciaz.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is already one of the best-selling cars in its league with an average monthly sale of over 4,600.

As per the company’s plans, MSI is looking to offer the safety features even on entry-level variants of its models, including Alto800 and AltoK10, as an option keeping in mind the price sensitivity of the segment, the official added. Over 56,000 Ciaz cars have been sold since launch in October 2014.
