Prince, 35, averaged 11.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while playing for the Memphis Grizzles, Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons. If Minnesota is going to take a step forward next season, that is the obvious area for improvement (although their 26th ranked offense could use some help, too). That’s a bit higher than his career numbers in terms of outside shooting (37% for his career) but he’s another player who can stretch the floor, has experience and isn’t a bad defender at all, although he’s not at the level (All-defensive player) he was a few years ago. Garnett is the definition of a leader, and he has held that title since his first go-around in Minnesota. Kevin Martin and Andrew Wiggins will likely be the starters but behind them there is Zach Levine, Muhammad and not anybody else that has proven anything in the National Basketball Association. You can’t have too many young players on a roster no matter how promising they are. Rasual Butler of the Washington Wizards and Shawne Williams from the Indiana Pacers are under scrutiny as well. Miami Heat star Michael Beasley is in the list as well.

Towns was the No. 1 overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to reach an agreement with regard the future of Tristan Thompson on the team.

The Dallas Mavericks also thought of the ramifications and opted for a cheaper route via the four-year deal of Wes Matthews worth $70 million as well.
