The Rolling Stones have opened up about their future, saying that they have no plans to split up.

“We’ve been thinking about it for quite a long time”, explains Mick Jagger, “but wanted it to be just right and on a large scale just like planning our touring concert productions”.

Richards, the band’s swashbuckling guitarist, said with a mischievous grin, “there’s a few incredibly interesting things that go along with The Rolling Stones and it’s not necessarily the members themselves”. From London blues band in the early ’60s to rock and roll saints, the more than 500 Rolling Stones artifacts from the band’s 50-year history will be laid out in formats of art, design, film, video, fashion, performance and rare sound archives.

On Thursday The Rolling Stones Announce Exhibitionism was a top story.

“Exhibitionism” starts in April 2016 and runs through September 2016. The Gallery will include backstage paraphernalia, unheard audio tracks, unseen video footage, iconic costumes, personal diaries, album cover artwork, original posters and one-of-a-kind cinematic representations. The show will even feature the group’s collaborative work with Andy Warhol, Alexander McQueen, Tom Stoppard, and Martin Scorsese. We didn’t get into this exhibition with the thought of retiring. “So it is appropriate that our EXHIBITIONISM will be housed at the wonderful Saatchi Gallery”.

The exact same sort of exhibit fully commited to British soloist David Bowie’s career accessed in London in 2013 at the Victoria & Albert Museum, cartoon substantial packed areas.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, the 71-year-old singer said: “Just because we’re doing a retrospective doesn’t mean it’s all over”.

Added drummer Charlie Watts: “It would be lovely if it was [the end of the band], but I have a feeling it won’t be”.
