Ant-Man truly brought you into a “micro world” that Marvel immersed you into and, experiencing this in 3D is truly the best way to watch this movie.
In the comics, as in Ant-Man itself, the Wasp is the alter ego of Janet van Dyne, Hank’s wife and Hope’s mother. He’ll have to, considering that Ant-Man will be back in action for the very next Marvel movie, Captain America: Civil War. The writing team of Edgar Wright (“Shaun of the Dead”/”Scott Pilgrim”), Adam McKay (“Anchorman”/”Step Bothers”), Joe Cornish (“Attack the Block“) and Rudd (“Role Models“) brings some serious cred, with solid instincts for what this hero needs to stand out in the Marvel lineup.
Combined with action that shifts the usual Marvel macro battle to micro dazzle, a solid cast and a high-tech heist of a plot, Ant-Man delivers a good thing in a small package.
In January, the comics universe’s Ant-Man graduated to his own ongoing series, titled “Ant-Man“, written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Ramon Rosanas.
Meanwhile, “Ant-Man’s” Rotten Tomatoes review stands at the limbo with a 74% rating, a 66/100 rating at Metascore and an 8.0 IMDb rating from IMDb.

Rudd plays Scott Lang, a thief with a heart: He went to prison for hacking into a corrupt financial firm and returning the money to citizens. The perspective change makes for some unlikely superhero foes (such as a bathtub drain). “That’s a different dynamic for a Marvel movie”. But finding a regular job, to pay child support to his daughter Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson), proves hard - so his ex-con buddy Luis (Michael Peña) tells him about a tip for an easy burglary job.
“The Avengers have bigger fish to fry, and once he gets Yellowjacket up and running, the Avengers really can’t really do anything to him”, Stoll explains. Much like director Alfred Hitchcock used to walk in front of his camera for a signature cameo, so has Stan Lee taken up the practice in several Marvel movies over the years. If he shrinks, I don’t know how they’re going to get him - except now with the Vision, the Vision is kind of unbeatable.
She’s a fully realised person and not any way a cliché of what we expected a woman to be like in a superhero movie.
