In the year since Randle broke his leg, many have wondered just what exactly the Lakers have in the former Kentucky star. I know that’s what coach wants to see from me more than anything.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Louis Williams (23) looks to pass against…

He said he spent the day texting with Amir Johnson, and was excited to see Kyle Lowry and DeMarre Carroll, with whom he played during an earlier stop in Atlanta. Make no mistake, he can still play defense and post up with his strength. It was a preseason affair, and he didn’t feel he had anything left to prove. “He is expected to appear in Tuesday”™s exhibition, a rematch against Utah, Scott said. “I’ll keep practicing and doing my best every game”. Bryant had 10 points and two rebounds to his credit.

“As much as I love Hawaii, it”™s a much bigger picture than these two games.” Scott would not commit to whether Bryant would play Tuesday.

Bryant missed horribly on his first attempt since injury, taking a contested three pointer which hit the side backboard.

The Lakers are going to have to move on from the Kobe Bryant era someday, but hopefully Kobe can give guidance to the younger players who are going to be the cornerstone of the franchise for years to come, Randle and Russell. That game will be broadcast on NBATV for the fans to enjoy at 6:30 p.m. PT. A good performance on a national stage, even in the preseason, could lead to future LA Lakers rumors being positive about a shot at the postseason. Dante Exum tore his ACL while playing with the Australian national team this season.

As for the newcomers in the Los Angeles Lakers roster, Kobe Bryant has nothing but kind words for D’Angelo Russell.

“He has a huge value”, Casey said, “but it depends on the other needs that you have on the team”.

Probably not. Brandon Knight is No. 91 on ESPN’s list-can you actually envision Knight going ahead of Bryant?

Kobe Bryant has made it clear that he has not decided whether this season will be his last in the National Basketball Association. And there’s a value.

For the Lakers, it’s not just Williams’ scoring that has turned heads.

“I think he’s an animal, man. I really do”. “Houdini” himself, Alec Burks, along with Rodney Hood paced the Jazz with a combined 48 points to help the team improve to 2-0 in preseason play. “I found a home here”. The veteran forward declined to speak with reporters at all. “It was still within the framework of what I said”. Robert Upshaw showed his potential as rim protector when he rejected Cory Joseph at the basket.

He also had three rebounds, three assists and two turnovers in about 21 minutes. Both teams had four DNP-CDs from the first game.
